Eileen C. Heuring, age 95, of Albertville passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Engel Haus in Albertville.
She was born on May 5, 1923 in Albertville the daughter of Joseph J. & Henrietta (Bell) Theisen.
On November 6, 1945, Eileen C. Theisen and Guido A. Heuring were joined in holy marriage at St. Albert’s Catholic Church in Albertville. God blessed their marriage with six children.
Eileen worked for many years at Wonderalls in Buffalo as a sewing floor manager.
She was a faithful member of The St. Albert’s Catholic Church in Albertville and also belonged to its Christian Mothers. She had a strong Catholic faith!
Eileen was an excellent cook and seamstress. She enjoyed preparing a big Sunday meal for family. Eileen loved having family around her.
She enjoyed traveling and playing cards.
Survived by her children: Shirley (Chuck) Fuller of Holt, Michigan, Ken (Cheryl) Heuring and Gary Heuring all of Albertville, Michael Heuring of Andover, Robert (Chris) Heuring and Donald (Valerie) Heuring all of Albertville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; sisters: Delrose Komasinski of Lansing, Michigan and Louise Theisen of Buffalo; a brother-in-law: Owen Heuring of Shakopee; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Guido A. Heuring on June 16, 1995, her parents and by five siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Eileen Heuring will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Albert’s Catholic Church in Albertville. Father Joe Zabinski will be the Celebrant.
Interment will follow at St. Albert’s Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 14th from 4-8 P.M. AT THE CHURCH. Prayer Service 7:00 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Monday, October 15th one hour prior to Mass at the church.
Casket Bearers will be Jason, Brian, Daniel, Cory, Troy and Erik Heuring and James Fuller.
My sympathy to Eileen’s family. This is Mary Eichers Hinz. My mom and Bernie Erpelding were best friends. I remember as a kid going to Eileen’s Home with Bernie and mom. She was a wonderful person. I also remember playing with you, Shirley. Such wonderful memories.
