With sympathy & prayers. May it bring some consolation to know the warmest thoughts are with you and your family. We so enjoyed our visit with you & JR. Good laughs and reminiscing. He will never know how much it meant to me when he said my dad was the “Good” uncle. My dad was the one who took him fishing. He connected me to my past. I haven’t been connected to my dad in 48 years. Dad was his Godfather & Jr was mine. When I was little I told dad & mom if anything happened to you guys, Jr. was the Godparent that I wanted to live if he would have me. We were having this discussion on the way out to the farm. No matter what age you are it’s really harsh to lose your dad. I’m so sorry Marlys that you lost your soul mate. He will always be Jr. to me because I just don’t know any better. He will be truly missed. May God be with you & your family to keep you strong. Love you guys, Sandy & Roger & family.
