Edward “Eddie” Joseph Michalek, 5 years old, born to his parents Tom and Melissa on February 15, 2012 in Big Lake, MN died on Tuesday October 17, 2017 in a tragic accident while enjoying the beautiful fall weather with his siblings in the family backyard, when a tree fell on him while he was in a hammock. He died in his parents loving arms. Eddie was active, loving, easy going, artistic and full of adventure. He is the 5th of 7 children who are homeschooled by their parents.

Eddie was dearly loved by his family: parents Tom and Melissa, siblings Mikayla, Stanley, Sabrina, Jonathan, Molly, and David; Great grandmother Doris Wicks; Great grandfather Edwin Hartung; grandparents Victor and Carol Michalek, Bruce and Pat Maltzen; aunts and uncles Robert and Annaleah Schuster, Rod and Rachel Michalek, and Michael Maltzen; cousins) and friends, and will be missed by many. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine on him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
