Edna A. Vadnais, age 94, of Buffalo, left us to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 17, 2017. She was born April 3, 1923 in Anoka, Minnesota. She is survived by her daughters, Ellamae (Bill) Tuffs, Eloise (Bill Jacoutot) Vadnais, Elaine (Stephen) Lucht, Marilyn (Mark) Barrett; son, James (Lori) Grimes; grandchildren, Tim (Jody) Tuffs, Cheri (Ross) Romkema, Tamara (Jeff) Hanson, Jennifer (Dustin) Schumacher, Julie Grimes, Tanya (Justin) Harms, Sarah (Bryan) Shattuck, Hannah (Nick) Trombley, Ben Barrett, Seth Barrett; 18 great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Vadnais; father, Conrad Meyer; mother, Clara Meyer (Tonn); 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Edna served her country during the war by making K-rations. Ed and Edna were married on June 12, 1954. She was a dedicated volunteer at church, a devoted wife, had a passion for gardening, cooking, cross country trips, and most of all her family. Edna will be most remembered for her love of family, sweet demeanor, her kindness to others, her faith, and taking pride in her children and grandchildren. Her love, kindness and gentleness will always live on in our hearts.

A celebration of Edna’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 7:00 PM at The Peterson Chapel, 300 Main St N, St. Michael, MN. Family and friends may gather 2 hours prior to the service. A private family interment will be held at St. John’s Cemetery in Corcoran.
