EDITH (VAGUE) BERG, aka Grama Tim, age 98, formerly of Erskine and Rockford, Minnesota , died Sunday, November 27, 2011.

Edith was born on March 20, 1913 in Niagara, North Dakota, the daughter of Berth and William Vague. There were six boys and three girls in her family and at an early age they moved to Erskine, Minnesota. She attended the Erskine school but at the young age of 17 she met and fell in love with Elmer Berg. They married and raised 6 children (DuWayne, Verdienne, Jack, Jannette, William and Elmer (Al), Jr.

Elmer, Sr. passed away at the age of 60 after a long illness and Edith went on to live a very long life with her children and friends.

She was a very loving parent and grandparent with a positive attitude and a lot of energy. She will be dearly missed.

Edith was preceded in death by her 1st granddaughter, Terry Lynn Torgerson, son DuWayne and wife Betty, son-in-law Woodie Torgerson and dear friend Cora Olstad.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December2, at 12 noon until the time of the service at the Peterson Chapel 300 Main Street St. Michael, Minnesota. Funeral services for Edith Berg will be held on Friday December 2, at 1:00 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel St. Michael, Minnesota. Private interment will be held the following day at noon at the Lima Cemetery in Erskine, Minnesota.
