Duane J. “Teenie” Martin age 72 of Albertville died peacefully at
Parkview Care Center in Buffalo on Tuesday. Duane was born March 9th,
1937 on the family farm near Albertville the son of Alrick and Mildred
(Berg) Martin.

Duane graduated from Elk River High School in 1955. After school he
worked for the Barbarosa Company laying sewer pipes. When his father
died he came home to work on the family farm. Duane was a faithful
member of St. Albert’s and joined the Knights of Columbus in 1959.
Duane will always be remembered as a quiet man who was always
happy-go-lucky.

Duane in survived by his loving siblings: Audrey (Archie) Kilian of
St. Michael, Eugene Martin of Princeton, Arlene (Loren) Dehmer of St.
Michael, Joanne (Pete) Monson of Stillwater, Diane (Gerald) Milless of
Rogers, Betty (Larry) McAlpine of Princeton, Gerald (Ramona) Martin of
Otsego, Donna Corbin of St. Michael, Mary (Gerald) Holland of Otsego,
Eldon (LeAnne) Martin of Albertville, Linda (Gene) Kirk of
Albertville, Theresa (Terry) Bourgeois of Zimmerman, Dale (Bev) Martin
of Albertville and Daniel Martin of Ogilvie.
Many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents Alrick and Mildred Martin;
nephews Clint Martin, Noah Martin; brother-in-law Butch Corbin.

Casket Bearers are Joseph Martin, Nathan Martin, Marty Kirk, Gary
Dehmer, Jeremy Martin and Chad Holland.

Honorary Casket Bearers are Eugene Martin, Gerald Martin, Eldon
Martin, Dale Martin and Daniel Martin.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 1-22-10, 11 AM St. Albert’s Catholic
Church in Albertville with Father Xavier Thelakkatt as Celebrant of
the Mass. Visitation Thursday at The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael
(763-497-5362) 4-8 PM and 1 hour prior to Mass at Church. Final
resting Place is St. Albert’s Catholic Cemetery.
