Douglas Eric Pedar Runman, age 63, of Montrose passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 at his residence after a 3 ½ year battle with cancer. Doug was a Navy Vet, a tool & dye maker and a sports loving Harley rider!
He was born on April 30, 1948 in Minneapolis to Eric & Catherine Runman.
Douglas graduated from Mound High School in 1966.
On September 2, 1978, Douglas Runman and Bunnie Timmons were joined in marriage in Buffalo.
He was employed at Wrico Stamping for thirty five years.
Survived by his loving wife: Bunnie Sue Runman; sisters: Bev (Tom) Therault, Sandy Green and Kathy (Stephen) Philbrook; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Doug’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 24th from 2-6 P.M. at The Montrose Community Center, 200 Center Avenue S., in Montrose.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for Ridgeview Hospice.
So sorry to hear about your loss. I had a lot of good times and chats with Doug.
Your lives together made one. The blessing and memories go on and on. Yours was a true love story.
