Dorothy J. Anderson, age 98 of Burnsville passed away peacefully on May 5, 2021. Preceded in death by husband Olof (d. 1/13/1996); parents Allyn and Esther (Macheledt) Ahlers; brother Allyn “Bud”, sister Joyce Henkel, son Scott and son-in-law Robert Nesbitt. Survived by children Penny Nesbitt, Larry (Maureen), and Arne (Pam); grandchildren Heather and Greg (Melissa) Nesbitt, Tom and Derek (Brianna) Anderson, Stacy (Jake) Price, Kelly (Pete) Totushek, Brett, Rick and Zach Anderson, and Cyan (Dylan) Evanoff; great grandchildren Tyler, Hannah, Wyatt, Makenzie, Abby, Aaron, Olivia, Kaitlyn, Talia, Ryan, Evie, and Violet. Special thanks to her niece Fanny Persson who cared for her the last two months and Elaine Balk who was her dear friend for many years and caregiver for the last 13 years. Dorothy was born and raised in Stewart, MN and received a nursing degree from Hamline University. She was a business woman, entrepreneur and kind, gentle, caring lady who will be missed by her family who loved her dearly. Funeral service is 12:00 Noon Monday (5/10), Buffalo Ev. Covenant Church, 1601 Highway 25 North, Buffalo. Visitation is at the church one hour prior to service.
