Visitation Information

Donna May Etzel-Maas, age 69, of rural Buffalo died Saturday, December 29, 2007 at her residence.

She was born on June 15, 1938 in Bemedji the daughter of Alvin W. & Nathalie E. Sexauer Clark. Donna was formerly employed and retired from Byerly™s Bakery in Rockford.

Survived by children: Richard Rick (Liz) Etzel of Waverly, Ronald (Dawn) Etzel, Douglas (Wendy) Etzel and Robin Etzel all of Buffalo, Brenda (Gary) Elliott of Maple Lake, Becky Huhn of Rockford, Bobby (Barb) Maas of Cambridge and Bonnie Maas of Lakeville; twelve grandchildren: Tiffany, Steven, Dean, Morgan, Eli, Katie, Carmen, Gabriel, Brianna, Melissa, Levi and MacKenzie; a sister: Cheryl Olson of Buffalo and by two brothers: Robert & Billy Clark; other relatives and friends, including the extended Maas family: Tom, Kathy, Gary, Sue, Cecelia, Kevin and their families (preceded by Mike).

Preceded also in death by her husband: Richard Etzel, an infant daughter, her parents and by two sons: Dean S. Etzel and Donald Etzel.

A Memorial Service for Donna May Etzel-Maas was held on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 12 Noon at St. John™s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Pastor Christian Bode officiated and interment followed at Elmwood Cemetery in Rockford.

A visitation was held on Saturday, January 5th from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.

Jeanne Dixon was the Soloist for the Memorial Service.
