On September 03, 1934 in Minneapolis, Mn. Kent Brooks Heintzeman and Sybil (Beaulieu) Heintzeman welcomed their 2nd of three children, Don Brooks Heintzeman. Don’s two siblings are Ted Kent Heintzeman (4/27/31) and Kathryn Ann Heintzeman Mulhouse (7/16/40).
During and after high school Don had various jobs, Kreske’s, soda shops. He attended the U of M. School and drafted into military and served his country from 1956 to 1958, stationed in Stuttgart, Germany.

Don met Eleanor (Ellie) Miller at an ice cream shop where they were both employed. They were married on November 20, 1956,at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in St. Paul, Mn. They were blessed with three sons: Jeffrey, Gregory and Christopher.

Don worked several jobs while taking Sales Training courses and graduated “with flying colors”; thereafter taught training classes in
Waukesha, Wis. and occasionally at Marquette University. Later he was employed at Curtis 1000 (printing) and Art Craft in Milwaukee and Mpls.. He was a Printing Sales Broker and later
started his own business, Eldon Printing, until he retired about 2010.

Among his favorite “past times” we’re reading, listening to classical music and others, photography, visiting art & historical museums, studying nature, taking hikes, visiting & playing cards (except Euchre). Don was an ingenious craftsman (if anything was needed, he’d
figure out how to improve it. He built a lovely cabin at Potawatabi in Barnes, Wis.

After Don’s wife, Ellie, died in 2000 and Dolores Dietz’ husband, Harold, in 2001, mutual friends, Vern & Carol, & niece, LuAnn, couldn’t wait to have them meet each other. Subsequently
they spent much time together and traveled extensively. Don was A TRUE GENTLEMAN.

After moving from South Mpls. & Burnsville to St. Michael he found a new family of friends and neighbors, as well as Dolores’ many family members. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Don was welcomed into heaven by his wife, Ellie, his son, Greg (5/21/2015), his parents.

He is survived by his son, Jeffrey (Leslie) Heintzeman, daughter-in-law, Bonnie Heintzeman in Marshall, Mn. and son, Christopher(Joyce) Heintzeman in Foxboro, Wis.; five
grandchildren (Colin (Chandra), Garrett, Charles, William Heintzeman & Brooke Heintzeman- Richards.two great-grandchildren: Kash & Knox Richards. Also survived by siblings, Ted & Katie. Last, but not least, his significant other, Dolores Dietz, of Champlin,MN

Don died of cancer on June 28, 2016. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael,MN .Wednesday, July 20, 2016 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment at 3:00 pm at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights
