Dolores J. Therres, age 84, of Albertville, formerly of St. Louis Park, passed away on Friday Jan 30, 2015 at Guardian Angels in Elk River.
She was born on November 28, 1930 in Minneapolis, the daughter of Allan and Margaret Rudisuhle.
On June 17, 1950 George F.Therres and Dolores J. Rudisuhle were joined in marriage at The Church of St. Albert in Minneapolis. God Blessed their marriage with four children.
Retired from the St. Louis Park School District.
She devoted her entire life to her family and they always came first. She was a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, Aunt and friend to many. She was a faithful member of the Church of St. Michael in St. Michael and formerly belonged to Holy Family Catholic Church in St. Louis Park.
Survived by children: Kathy (Tim) Beltrand of Plymouth. George A. (Sherry) Therres of Mound. Mary (John) Engstrom and Allan Therres all from Albertville. Ten grandchildren, Seven great grandchildren, and Sister Marlene Hamer of Plymouth along with many nieces,nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by husband George and parents Allan and Margaret Rudisuhle.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores J. Therres will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday Church of St. Michael in St. Michael.
Interment St. Michael Cemetary.
A visitation will be held at the Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home on Monday February 2nd, from 4-7 pm. Further
visitation at the church on Tuesday, February 3rd one hour prior to Mass.
Casket Bearers will be Brian Westly, Brad Westly, Dylan Therres, Hunter Therres, Vaughn Marcus, Blake Riley, Mike Hamer, Pat Hamer.
Sincerest Sympathy and Prayers for Dody and all of her beloved family. George and Dody were Mom and Dad’s oldest and dearest friends. So many happy memories of summers taking over Schultz’s Resort, fishing and playing cards.

I am so very sorry to hear this sad news about Dody. She was a very nice lady who welcomed me whenever I was up there with Cousin Marilou. I enjoyed our visits so much. I wouldn’t have wanted her to suffer, though, so it sounds like this was a Blessing. You, the family, will suffer, though, and I will pray that it gets easier for all of you. Only time will help. I hope to see all of you again. Please know you have my deepest sympathy. They don’t seem to make them like Dody. Love and Hugs,
