Dixie was the first person I met at Cooper School when I came from Omaha to Sioux City. I will always remember her smile and her laugh. She will be greatly missed by her family & friends. RIP Dixie.

Dixie has been a friend to me for a lot of years. You couldn’t ask for a better friend or a more honest person. She had a heart of gold and would help you any way she could. I’m going to miss her so much especially knowing I’ll never hear her voice or see her again. The memories we’ve made over the years will always be in my heart. She was truly like a sister to me. Sleep peaceful my friend. Love, Your friend Sandy

My mom, Dixie, was one in a million. She didn’t have a mean bone in her body. She loved her family and friends more than anything. She will be missed by so many, but I find comfort knowing she is resting in eternal paradise. Until we meet again mama. 💞

Dixie was a wonderful caring person, she was a 2nd mom to me growing up. She will always be in my heart. I bet her and my mom are looking down on all of us and sharing stories from our childhood. Thank you Dixie for being such a wonderful person. I am thinking about you all. I am sorry I am not able to attend the funeral service but you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a big part of my life when I was growing up. Growing up we were at her house all the time and she was always watching out for me. Her and my mom would let me watch Days of our Lives when the rest of you all would have to take a nap. I know how much you will miss her. We just recently reconnected and it was so great to be back in her life. I will miss her terribly. Prayers for you all.
