Dianne Marie Dayon, age 67 of Maple Grove, passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2020.
She attended St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Waverly from grades 9- 11. She then graduated from Wayzata High School with the class of 1970. She worked as a sales and marketing manager for several Metro companies. Most recently she was an administrative assistant for 20 years at Twin City Fan/Aerovent. Dianne enjoyed spending time at the beach and loved taking care of her beloved dog, Cody.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Isabelle (Striebel) Dayon.
Dianne is survived by her brothers, David (LeAnne) Dayon and Jack (Kathi) Dayon; nephews and nieces; and her dog, Cody.
Memorials are preferred to St. Anne’s Parish.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 7/16/20, at 10 AM at the Church of St. Anne in Hamel, MN. Interment to follow.

Sorry for your loss Jack, Dave and family. So glad Dianne came to the Hatcher Xmas gathering at my house last year. She said she had a great time! Now she is in heaven celebrating Easter with your mom and dad.
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Diane. My sincere sympathy to you Jackie & Dave and families. Such a hard time in our lives with this covid-19 and sure doesn’t help matters dealing with a death. My heart goes out to all of you.
Dave & Jack, we are so sorry to hear of the loss of your sister and our friend, Dianne. We worked with her for over 20 years at Aerovent. My fondest memory of her was wearing my Christmas bell necklace. It drove her crazy. I will never ring it again without thinking of her.

Dave & Jack: My deepest sympathy to both of you at this time. Dianne and I worked together at Aerovent for about 20 years. We chatted every day during that time. She had a very kind heart. She was the first to send out cards when others experienced pain in their life. She always had dogs treats and hugs for my dog when he visited work. He obeyed her better than me! Dianne and I both shared the love of lobster pasta and bruschetta at Biaggi’s. And at Christmas we would exchange gifts and she would give me cozy new slippers! I will remember our chats and all the times we shared! Cheers to you Dianne – please rest in peace.
