YOU WILL BE SO VERY MISSED. WE LOVE, LOVE RIP
Devin was a good friend of mine. He was always there to put a smile on my face and occasionally we teased each other. He was such a bright individual so when I heard this awful news, I just couldn’t believe it. He was loved by many including myself, and I will miss him so much everyday. In fact, I already do. I love and miss you Devin.
We are so very sorry for the loss of Devin. Our heart goes out to all his family and friends. Our family will miss him dearly, and he will always be in our thoughts, prayers, and memories. He was a great friend to David and my kids-his smile was contagious. We will miss you. Love Mom, David, and the Willmert kids.
Such sad news. We are heartbroken for you and your family Devin. Maverick enjoyed your wit, funny mischief and time you spent together at wrestling. Our thoughts are with your family. Rest peacefully.
I had the opportunity to work with Devin at the Montrose Elementary school. He was a very loving and caring person. I was saddened to hear about his death. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. I do have some pictures from the 5th grade field trip we took if you would like copies let me know.
Devin was a former Montrose Elementary student, I enjoyed his beautiful smile, and his pleasant personality. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. May God reach down and give you all a huge hug.
It really hits my heart that this young boy had to pass away the way he did. I hope he is enjoying life up in heaven and I hope he knows many people here loved him and will miss him, R.I.P
Devyn was a very good friend of Tyler’s while living in Montrose. He will be very missed and we are truly saddened for your family. We hope that your wonderful memories will eventually be able to give you some comfort and hope.
Dear family and friends;
We are so deeply saddened to hear of Devin’s passing and want to send our prayers for comfort to all of you, especially Devyn’s brothers and parents. He was a good friend to Tyler and they actually had the same birth date. He remembers what a kind, thoughtful person Devyn was in the Kidcare days and enjoyed his friendship after that when Devyn would come over to Kidcare when they played outside, just to see Tyler. He will be truly missed and remembered.
I miss you so much Devin. You are loved. Never forgotten. I am so sorry and will never forgive myself for not being able to attend your funeral. Miss you.
It’s now 2020, and still, I try to live by the lessons I learned from you. You were a truly amazing person who wasn’t scared to be friends with outcasts. I am grateful for the time I had with you. It’s crazy and amazing that my hero was a 14-year-old from home. Love you man.
