Delrose Bertha Ahlm, age 90 of Buffalo, passed away September 3, 2018. She was born April 25, 1928 in St. Michael, MN to William and Mary (Otten) Weber. Delrose was raised in Buffalo, and attended Buffalo High School, graduating with the class of 1945. During her high school years, she started dating Donald Ahlm, and the two were joined in marriage at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church on Sept. 29, 1951. Together they raised their daughter, Laurie.

Delrose worked for several places including King’s House Retreat Center throughout the 1960s, Gamble’s Corporate office in the Twin Cities, and finally for Lake Region Co-op, where she retired from in the early 1990’s. She continued to work part time at Renaissance West in Buffalo where she enjoyed meeting people and making new friends.

Her faith was a significant part of her life and she was active with the CCW women’s group at St Francis Xavier Church, and the local Serra Club. She continued to volunteer at St. Francis and King’s House Retreat Center throughout her retirement years. She also enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents, William and Mary Weber; and siblings, Isabelle, Lawrence, Marie, and Norman (Chuck). Delrose is survived by her daughter, Laurie (Tony) Bussmann; grandchildren, Amber (Thomas) Bakken, Jennifer (Andrew) Hayes, and Zachary Bussmann; great-grandson, Owen Patrick Bakken; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM all at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Education Center, 219 19th St NW, Buffalo MN. Interment to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Buffalo. Father Nathaniel Meyers will be the celebrant.
