Delores Helen Kieser, age 77, of Montrose died Friday, November 7, 2008 at Elim Nursing Home in Watertown.
She was born on August 31, 1931 in Winsted the daughter of Leo J. & Rosalia M. “Rose” Remer Habisch.
On October 16, 1948, Delores H. Habisch and Clemens J. Kieser were joined in holy marriage at The Church of St. Mary in Waverly.
She was formerly employed at Tonka Toys and at The Radisson South.
Delores enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos. She was also fond of crafts, especially crocheting.
Delores loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren!
She belonged to The Church of St. Mary in Waverly.
Survived by daughters: Jeanette (Jim) Lachermeier of St. Cloud, Renee (James) Lauzer of Howard Lake and Anna Wahl of Montrose; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; a brother: Leon (Kathy) Habisch of Montrose; sisters: Lucy (Harvey) Rehmann of Winsted and Geri Jacques of Delano and special friend Mike Mallak; sisters-in-law: Arlene Kieser and Rosemary Lamont; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband: Clemens J. Kieser, a son: Dennis A. Kieser, a grandson: Chad and by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Delores Kieser will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 13th at The Church of St. Mary in Waverly. Father Timothy Cloutier will be the Celebrant. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Casket Bearers will be Craig Maas, Cory Wahl, Curt Schwalbe, Jason Lachermeier, Paul Horsch, Dennis Welter and Brandon Maas.
To mom your pain is over and your returning to your husband and son.I will miss you very much and see you again someday.Daddy and Dennis will be so happy to see you. I am sure you are walking and in good health.
To The Peterson Chapel thank you so much for the wonderful work you had done for our mother as well as our Dad and Brother. The kindness and thoughfullness that was shown to our family was deeply appreciated you have once again out done yourselves. Thank goodness for special people like your staff.
