Delores JoAnn Fletcher, age 87, of Buffalo, MN passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at her home.

She was born on October 1, 1936 in Kensal, ND the daughter of John P. and Bernice (Palmer) Hockert.  She was the second born of eight children.

Delores enjoyed reading, putting together puzzles, spending time at the lake and gardening.  She absolutely adored her family and love spending time with them.

On August 22, 1955 Delores Hockert and Charles “Art” Fletcher were united in marriage in Courtney, ND.  They were blessed with three children.

Preceded in death by her husband “Art”, a grandson Steve Fletcher; her parents; sisters Mary Ketterling, Jan Caron, and Madeline (Jim) Clarys; daughter-in-law Bonnie Fletcher.

Survived by children Pamela Nickel; Mark Fletcher; and Mike (Lori) Fletcher; grandchildren Sandy (Darrin) Kamon, Dawn (Lawrence) Straley, Taunya (Jeremy) Buboltz, Amy (Chris) Maas, Grahm Fletcher, Andy (Megan) Fletcher and Joe (Samantha) Fletcher; great-grandchildren Luke, Broc, Olivia (Jarek), Oliver, Abbey, Emily (Jake), Coleman, Carter, Cody, Harper, Charlie, Harrison, Everett and Easton; great-great grandchildren Evelynn and Cora; other relatives and friends.

Memorial service for Delores Fletcher will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM at The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo.

Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Inurnment will take place at a later date at Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.

A special thank you to Direct Support Professional, Claire, for her beautiful care of our mother over the last several years.

The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
