Delores Evelyn “Babe” (DeMarais) Rentz, age 78, passed away February 24, 2011 in Park View Care Center in Buffalo, Minnesota.

She was born in Monticello, Minnesota on September 9, 1932, the fifth child of Howard and Esther (Wurm) DeMarais, Sr..

She was baptized October 16, 1932 in the Roman Catholic Church in Monticello, Minnesota. She was confirmed in 1948 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Buffalo, Minnesota. Delores attended St. Francis Catholic School in Buffalo.

On June 30, 1955 Delores was united in marriage to Myron Rentz in Wichita, Kansas. To this union three children were born: Rita, Ronald and Rhonda.
After raising three children, Delores worked outside the home at the Overall factory in Buffalo as well as Playhouse Toys in Plymouth, and most recently at the Park View Care Center for over 27 years, a very dedicated worker, she loved her job and the residents she served.
Delores is survived by her three children: Rita (Dale) Fadden, Ronald (Sheree) Rentz and Rhonda (Jim) Triplett all of Buffalo; grandchildren: Justin (Katie) Rentz, Chad (Becki) Rentz, Melissa (Eric) Olson, Joshua (Sophia) Triplett, Nicole (Ryan) Mull and Rachael Fadden; step-grandchildren: Michelle and Michael Caylor, 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Gloria Hollerbach of Coon Rapids, Mary (Richard) Haberle of Buffalo; five brothers: Ronald DeMarais of Anoka, DuWayne “Champ” (Dixie) DeMarais of Buffalo, Gary DeMarais of Buffalo, Darryl (Gloria) DeMarais of Buffalo, Darwin “Buck” (Marsha) DeMarais of Brooklyn Park; sister-in-laws: Lila (Robert) Swanson of Delano and Shirley Scott of Arizona; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron Rentz; parents, Howard and Esther (Wurm) DeMarais, Sr.; sisters, Dorothy Krystocek, Bernice Moody, Elaine Rentz; brothers, Richard, Maurice (Des) and Howard “Bud” Jr.; sisters-in-law: Karron DeMarais, Judi DeMarais, brother-in-laws Cyrus Rentz, Jack Rentz, Jim Hollerbach.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Saturday, February 26, 2011 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Buffalo, Minnesota, with Father David Hennen officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4-8pm at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Further visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10:00am until the time of service.

Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo, Minnesota.

    I know that you were very lucky to have such a strong, spunky, fun-loving mother who loved you all so very much…..and she, in turn, was lucky to have three wonderful kids who blessed her each and every day with calls, McDonalds coffee, hair do’s, and just being there for her.
