Visitation Information

David L. Johnson, age 48, of Superior, WI, formerly of Montrose, passed away February 1, 2011 after a 9 year battle with Multiple Myeloma.
He was born on September 8, 1962 in Denver, CO, son of Lloyd (Rocky) & Orleitha (Orle) Johnson.
David graduated from Buffalo High School in 1981. He obtained his degree at the Minnesota School of Business. He had a successful career as a manager for Woolworth’s and Petco.
David was the proud father of two sons, David Jr, 22, and Morgan, 21. He valued the time he spent with his sons. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family and spending time with his dog Austin.
David is survived by: his children, parents, siblings Claudia Brunner, Lafayette, CO, Shelley Bergman, Buffalo, MN, Terry (and Tami), Buffalo, MN; and many beloved nieces and nephews as well as countless other family and friends whose hearts he touched.
A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial for David Johnson will be on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly, MN. Father Martin B. Shallbetter will be the Principal Concelebrant. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Friday, February 4th at the church. Casket Bearers will be Carey Kieser, Craig Kieser, Jim Johnson, Scott Stenseth, Scott Gavin and Nick Kath.
