David Arthur Stoddard, age 65 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017. He was born March 30, 1952 in Crystal MN, the son of Paul and Jan (Brown) Stoddard.
David was an antique lamp collector and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Jan Stoddard; and brother-in-law, Tom Barthel.
David is survived by his sons, Matt (Robin) Stoddard and Nic (Brittney) Stoddard; grandchildren, Madison, Charlie, Elliot, Malachi; best friend, Jeanette Stoddard; brothers, Mike (Mary) Stoddard, Pat (Barb) Stoddard, Joe (Alice) Stoddard; sisters, Jean Barthel, Beth (Joey) Hagen; and many other family and friends.

Prayers out to the family. I can still remember when I bartended at Woody’s and him and I would shake for a 12 pack 🙂 .
I will miss Dave’s big smile and big bear hugs. Wonderful memories of the “good times”. I always felt he watched over us when we were hard at play. Love, Marie
My condolences to the family. Last time I seen Dave was at Wrench funeral. We talked for awhile, catching up on old times together. I just seen this about him didn’t know he was ill. We had some good times together. He sure will be missed. I remember him showing off his collection of antique lights at his place.
