Visitation Information

Darryl Goskey, age 71, of Elk River died peacefully at home after a long battle with prostate cancer.

Darryl was a lifelong resident of the Elk River area. He retired from trucking after more 30 years. He enjoyed classic cars, tractors and spending time with his family.

He is survived by loving wife of 27 years, Donna; children Dion Goskey; Gary (Tina) Goskey; Tim Goskey; Chaun (Kim) DeMars; Jesse (Becky) DeMars; Mary (John) Schulke; Amy (Lance) Soderholm; mother Shirley Goskey; sisters Gerry (Cliff) Olson; and Susie (Pete) Barthel; sister-in-law Darlean Goskey; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Goskey, an infant brother and brothers Lyle and Orlin.

Visitation Friday 4-8 p.m. at Central Lutheran Church, 1103 School Street, Elk River.

Funeral service Saturday 3 p.m. Central Lutheran Church. Further visitation begins Saturday at 2 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
