Darla M. Stimpson, age 61, of Buffalo passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

She was born on June 12, 1950 in Marcell, Minnesota the daughter of Lawrence & Alice Holsman Larson.

On March 5, 1976, Darla & Donald L. Stimpson were joined in holy marriage in Watertown, South Dakota.

Darla was employed as the night manager at Super America in Buffalo. She had been employed for the last eighteen years at Super America.

She was an artistic person and especially enjoyed drawing. Darla also was fond of people, camping, entertaining and cooking.

Survived by her husband of thirty five years: Donald L. Stimpson; a daughter: Jayda (Shawn) Jibben-Glover of Buffalo; grandchildren: Jonny, Joey and Jenna; sisters & brothers: Tricia (Lloyd) St. Martin of Paso Robles, California, Patsy (Richard) Carlson of Pengilly, Minnesota, Arthur (Lynn) Frank of Marble, Minnesota, Allan (Cheryl) Titus of Eureka, Montana, Gary (Debbie) Anderson of Arden, North Carolina and Jay Frank of Minneapolis; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents: Lawrence “Larry” & Alice Larson and by a brother: Lee Beckman.

Funeral services for Darla Stimpson will be held on Saturday, April 21st at 12 Noon at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Private interment Swedish Mission Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. Friday, April 20th at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Further visitation will be held on Saturday, April 21st from 11:00 A.M. until time of services.

The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo is serving the family.
