Dan was a wonderful neighbor to my son Kevin when he made his first home purchase last September. Thank you Dan for being there for Kevin. He really misses you.
Dan will be truly missed. I think about Hockey, I think of Dan.
Travis our hearts go out to you!
Bev and family, I am heartsick to hear of your loss. My very deepest sympathy.
Bev and Boys, We are so sorry to hear about Dan. So many good hockey memories with your family I will always remember. May God watch over you.
Dear Bev, Travis and Justin,
We were deeply saddened to hear about the death of Dan. I know how difficult this must be for your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Dan was such a kind, gentle soul. Dan would do anything to help. Dan was the first to show me how to run the clock at the hockey arena. Most of our hockey parents spent some time under Dan’s instruction in the penalty box. He was always willing to help at hockey.
We met Dan well before the hockey years, as our son, Nick, was born on the same day and at the same hospital as Justin. I recall how proud Dan was when we would meet in the hospital hallway. We didn’t get to know Dan and your family better until Justin and Nick played on the same hockey team. I remember one hockey trip to Duluth with Justin and Nick’s team. I don’t remember if their team won or lost that tournament, but I do know we had a great time that weekend with Dan and Bev.
May God bless you and your family during this time and always,
The Weeks

Bev & Boys…. I am so sorry for your loss! Travis you played hockey with Alex. Bev, you know Chelsie, my daughter. May God bless the 3 of you and get you through this difficult time. Travis – congratulations on your graduation – it should be a happy time for you – I feel so bad for you especially!
Bev, Travis, Justin, Aunt Violet, and Mitch,
Our family is shocked and saddened by the loss of my cousin Danny. I still remember Danny and my brother Trace making life for me so much fun when visiting my Grandma and Grandpa’s house in Glenville. All the teasing kept me on my toes. Because I knew him best when I was younger, I’ll always remember him as a teenager in my mind. I thought that losing my Uncle Jim was too soon in life, but this is even more unfair. I’m so sorry that we could not come for the funeral. We would like to send our prayers to you all and to let you know our thoughts are with you on this sad day.
Love,
Anne, Nate, Kaitlin, Caroline, and Alec LaPlant

Dear Bev and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Most of my memories of Danny are from childhood as we grew up sharing holidays and other family events as cousins. He was always so kind. My husband Evan & I enjoyed talking with him at our wedding. He reminded me so much of his dad. It is impossible to believe that he is gone. At times like this, it is difficult living so far away from family. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Jane and Evan Thompson
Bev, Travis & Justin:
Our prayers are with you and we share your sorrow.
Bev & Boys
My heart goes out to the 3 of you! Travis, you played hockey with Alex. Bev, you also know my daughter, Chelsie. I just feel so bad for you! Travis, congratulations on your graduation! This is suppose to be a happy time in your life. Just know that people are thinking of you!
Dear Lang Family,
I grew up with Dan. From second grade through high school, we lived just over a mile apart. Dan and I spent a lot of time together riding bikes between our farms, hunting, taking care of his sheep, and later lifting weights together in my basement. We were the best of friends and enjoyed each other’s company very much.
Once we both went off to college, we lost touch and haven’t talked much since. I moved away and joined the U.S. Air Force, and Dan settled in the Twin Cities area.
I have nothing but fond memories of Dan and our time together. My sincerest condolences go out to you and the rest of your family. My family and I will keep you and Dan in our thoughts and prayers.
May God Bless you all and provide you comfort and peace during this incredibly difficult time.
