Curtis Elmer Hofman went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2012. He was born November 29, 1933 in Brewster, MN the son of Albert and Henrietta (Dalman) Hofman.
Curtis and Janett Dennin were joined in marriage on September 20, 1956.
He is survived by his wife, Janett and children Karen Klonne, Brenda (Lowell) Main, and Gordon (Sandra) Hofman, grandchildren Donald, Jillian, Robert, Hannah, Joseph, Samuel, Noah, Valerie, Julia, Kari, and Kaitlin and great-granddaughter Raina. He is also survived by his sisters Phyllis (Chester) Dorf and Betty (Bill) Seibert, as well as nieces,other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Henrietta and his brother, Marvin.
Curtis was baptized and attended Silver Creek Reformed Church in his youth. He has been a member of the Buffalo Presbyterian Church since 1960 where he held several elected offices and helped with the custodial care of the church.
His leisure time was spent camping, square dancing, playing cards, bowling, attending blue grass conventions and antique thrashing shows, spending the winter in Texas, as well as following and discussing the Twins baseball team for decades.
Curtis will be fondly missed by extended family, as well as many friends and acquaintances.
Funeral services for Curtis Hofman will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at Buffalo Presbyterian Church at 2:00 P.M.
Interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Maple Lake.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-7 P.M. at funeral home.
Casketbearers are Donald Klonne, Jay Dupuis, Robert Main, Joseph Main, Samuel Main, Noah Main and Jordan Hamm.
