Visitation Information
Craig Edward Dalaska, age 60, of Clearwater, Minnesota passed away on December 24, 2009 in South Haven, Minnesota.
He was born on January 24, 1949 in New Prague, Minnesota the son of Edward A. & Verna J. Lamont Dalaska.
Craig honorably served his Country in The United States Military.
He served in Korea helping to deliver supplies during the Viet Nam War.
He was a longtime truck driver for Bjorklund Trucking in Buffalo, Minnesota, and an owner operator of his own Semi.
Craig enjoyed golfing, pheasant hunting and fishing.
Survived by former wife and loving companion of thirty six years: Ruth Hemphill of Wadena; a daughter: Jody A. (Monte) Grossinger of Wadena, a son: Eric J. Dalaska and Kris D. (Michael) Strzyzewski of Maple Lake; grandchildren: Amber L. Shively, Devin M. Lowers, Drake J. Strzyzewski, Alyxis K. Strzyzewski, Jessica M. Grossinger and Grant J. Grossinger; a great grandchild: Justin R. Funk; a sister: Marsha (William) Stoltzman of Plymouth; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Preceded in death by his parents: Edward & Verna Dalaska.
Funeral services for Craig Dalaska will be held on Thursday, December 31st at 11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Pastor James Disney will officiate.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30th from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Further visitation at the Church on Thursday morning one hour prior to services.
Casket Bearers will be John Nagel, Randy Nordling, Paul Molzahn, Les Lemieux, William Bell and Dan DeWitte.
The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo is serving the family.

I just personally want to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. My Dad has many friends out there and you all meant a great deal to him. We will forever miss him.

We are so sad to hear of Craig’s death. We had lots of fun times with Ruth and Craig at the Wadena Elk’s club and at the golf course.
