Craig Andrew Olson, Sr., of St. Michael, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 13th, 2021.

Craig was a proud father of 3 and a devoted husband. He was born on July 18th, 1964 to George and Barbara (Hanson) Olson. Craig grew up in Minneapolis and attended Minneapolis West High School. While in school, Craig enjoyed a variety of activities from Norwegian Folk Dancing to football.

After school, he began working for Allina Health where he became a network engineer. In 2011, Craig met his wife, Estella, and they were married in 2014. Craig was a multi-faceted man. He loved to travel the world; thanks to his side gig at Delta Airlines, he was able to visit many different countries on several continents. However, Craig also loved his days at home relaxing watching Impractical Jokers. He was dependable, honest, and he will be deeply missed by all of those who knew him.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents, George and Barbara.

He is survived by his wife, Estella Olson, his 3 children, Amanda (Kyle) Hasler, Alyssa (Nick) Braden, and Craig Olson Jr; and his sisters, Lynn (Mark) Wood and Susan (Charles) Cunningham. He is also leaving behind many beloved extended family members.

A memorial service will be held for Craig on October 24th at 3 PM with visitation one hour prior at NorthRidge Fellowship in Rogers, MN. It will be livestreamed and viewers can watch by clicking the link:

Craig and his family were neighbors across the street when us kids were growing up. He was a smart and a very kind person who was a friend to many and me. I am sad to hear that he has past and sad that Craig and I did not stay connected over the years. I am heart broken for Craig’s family and friends.
    My condolences….
