Craig Andrew Olson, Jr., age 25, passed away May 15, 2024. He was born on February 5, 1999, in Minneapolis, MN, to Craig Olson, Sr. and Christy (Wiley) Olson. His bright and generous spirit touched the lives of many during his 25 years.

He attended and graduated from St. Michael-Albertville High School with the class of 2017. Known for his kindness and ability to connect with anyone, Craig was a cherished friend and family member.

His interests included spending time at the shooting range and immersing himself in the world of virtual reality. Craig also had a passion for video games and was an enthusiastic gamer. He had a deep love for animals, especially his two cats and his beloved dog.

On September 23, 2023, Craig married the love of his life, Abbie Preston.

Craig will be remembered for his sweetness, generosity, and the warmth he brought into our lives. He will forever remain in our hearts.

He is preceded in death by his father, Craig Olson, Sr., who passed away in 2021.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Abbie; his loving mother, Christy Olson, and step-father, Jeff Lehn; sisters, Amanda (Kyle) Hasler and Alyssa (Nick) Braden; brother, Levi Lehn; nieces, Eleanor and Skylar. Craig will also be deeply missed by his grandparents, Wes and Kathy Wiley, and Jackie Porter; great-grandmother, Betty Wiley; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Julie Preston; and brother-in-law, Cody Preston (girlfriend, MacKenzie), along with many other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville., 300 Main Street N, St. Michael, MN. A Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 PM at the chapel to honor Craig’s memory and the wonderful impact he had on all who knew him.
