Corrine Anderson, age 78 of Buffalo, MN formerly of Brainerd, MN passed away on 2-9-2015 at Parkview Care Center, Buffalo, MN.

Although too early for Corrine Anderson, God called her home on February 9, 2015. In her final days she viewed this both as considerable loss & gain. You see, Corrine had an absolute love for life. She was known to dance, take her grandchildren to the zoo, host big parties; work long days with her husband at their business, Soft Touch car wash, travel, PLAY & seek adventure. She was game for almost anything. Often you would find her chatting on the phone or reading a good book. Her love for living began as a small child. Corrine grew up in Minneapolis, MN. She cherished her childhood, often reminiscing & sharing fond memories of her upbringing. She appreciated that when times were tough, family, neighbors & friends pulled together. Her family was wealthy with love! Eventually she moved to the Brainerd area & became a snow bird, spending winter in Arizona. She had many friends & grandchildren that occupied her time! In her final days she said she didn’t know how hard life could be until at that moment. She was conflicted & so sad to be leaving her loved ones here on earth. Corrine LOVED LIVING. She relished every single moment, whether watching a bird, spotting a rainbow, listening to a good song or picking up a board game. She was funny, adventurous, charismatic, hardworking, intelligent & beautiful. She always showed grace & unconditional love. On the other hand she had a lot to look forward to in her passage to heaven. Of course she was going to meet the Lord, but she was also going to be with all those loved family members & friends that passed before her. As she put it, “she was going to be busy for awhile & had a lot of catching up to do.” Corrine will be dearly missed as she was an important part of both ordinary & big life moments. We love you forever & always. May your spirit live on & be free…but not too far from ours.

Preceded in death by parents, Alvin V. Anderson & Lorraine E. Anderson-Garaghty, step-father Raymond Garaghty, husband of 39 years, James D. Anderson, son Ricky R. Anderson, grandchildren, Douglas Stansberry & Kati Knudson, former husband, Robert E. McNeil, sisters, Erlene Langner, Virginia Gamer, brother, Robert Anderson. Jim & Corrine were great neighbors at Bar Harbor Townhouses and great entertainers. Now she will be able to join Jim.
