McGaffey, Clyde Raymond Buffalo, died Oct. 16th.

He was born Nov. 18, 1915, in Buffalo, MN, to Edward C. McGaffey & Mabel (Klatt) McGaffey. He graduated from Buffalo H.S. in 1933. “Joe,” the nickname he carried most of his life, was employed as a truck driver by his father for many years. Upon his father’s death, Joe and his wife, Katherine purchased Western Transportation, and owned it until the summer of 1969. Clyde married Katherine Huber in June, 1940. They were blessed with 5 children, Patricia (Ralph) Munsterteiger; Jean (David) Bryant; Sandra (Thomas) Bogren; James Edward (Kate) McGaffey; & Neal John (Katrina) McGaffey. They have 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Gerri (Don) Huston. Katherine died in December, 1968. In Aug., 1971, Clyde married Berdelia Wittenberg. He became step father to: Sue (Sam) Heineke; Pat (Craig) Walls; Roxann (Kelly) Brynestad; Cindy (Doug) Holland; Linda Wittenberg; Jim & Donald Wittenberg, both deceased. There are 12 step grandchildren & 16 step great-grandchildren.

Clyde & Berdelia “Bert” moved to Bird Island, MN, where they lived until Aug., 2004, when they moved to Sunrise Assisted Living in Buffalo.

Funeral service 11 AM Sat. at the funeral home.

Visitation at the funeral home Sat. morning one hour prior to services.
