April 7, 1928 – June 24, 2019
Clinton Gilbert Lambert, age 91, of Buffalo passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Park Terrace Assisted Living, Buffalo MN.
He was born on April 7, 1928 in Howard Lake the son of Edward & Dora (Reek) Lambert.
Clinton was baptized on April 29, 1928 at St. James Lutheran Church in Howard Lake. He was also instructed in the Lutheran Catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith on March 29, 1942 also at St. James Lutheran Church in Howard Lake. His confirmation memory verse was Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
On October 14, 1950, Clinton G. Lambert and Betty J. Lantto were joined in holy marriage at The Apostolic Lutheran Church north of Cokato. God blessed their marriage with four children.
Clinton and Betty farmed in Chatham Township, Wright County for many years.
Clinton was a faithful member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo.
Survived by his loving wife of sixty eight years: Betty J. Lambert; children: Myra Jane Robbin, Mona (Andrew) Hathaway-Riehl, Mark (Karey) Lambert and Gene (Mary Jo) Lambert; twelve grandchildren and 21.9 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents and by a brother Elmer.
A Memorial service for Clinton Lambert will be held on Friday, June 28th, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Pastor Ryan Clark will officiate. Inurnment at The Howard Lake Cemetery at a later date.
A visitation will be held AT THE CHURCH Friday, June 28th beginning at 2:00 P.M. until time of services.
