Christine Ruth Lee, age 50 of Buffalo, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020. She was born April 26, 1969, the daughter of Wyman and Sharon (Eng) Spoors.
Chris was a 1987 graduate of Buffalo High School. She was a dedicated nurse who served at North Memorial Hospital and was a lifelong attendee of Buffalo Covenant Church in Buffalo.
She enjoyed reading, Coca-Cola, cats, and cooking big meals for her family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandbaby.
Chris was genuinely selfless and caring and loved praying for others.
She is preceded in death by her father, Wyman Spoors and brother, Dougie Spoors.
Chris is survived by her children, Katie Lee, Becca Lee, Markus (Abigael) Lee; granddaughter, June Lee; mother, Sharon Spoors; sister, Amy Spoors; and many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Buffalo Covenant Church in Buffalo, Minnesota.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Funeral services for Chris Lee will be held Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior, at Buffalo Covenant Church in Buffalo. Interment will be at Swedish Mission Cemetery in Buffalo.

Deepest condolences, Chris and I went to high school together and she was such a kind and lovely person.
I’m so sorry for your loss! I went to school with Chris and I was fortunate to be able to call her my friend during our school years. She was a kind, sweet and peaceful person. Makes sense that she became a nurse, I bet she was a good one!! I hope you all find some comfort knowing that I’m sending thoughts and prayers your way. I’m sure you are proud of Chris and the huge difference she made in people’s lives.

I am so sorry to hear of Chris’ passing. She was a kind and gentle person, and loved the Lord and her family. We met Chris and Markus at an evangelism class at the Buffalo Covenant Church several years ago. She will be missed.
Chris is an important person in my life. We were roommates in Minneapolis in 1989, and she was instrumental in the growth of my Christian faith. I have thought of her countless times over the years since I left MN to come back home to CO. I am grateful that I was able to see this obituary. Prayers of peace, strength, and hope for Katie, Becca, and Marcus as you grieve a most wonderful woman and mom.
