Chersti Marie Pearson, age 71 of Loretto, MN, passed away in Amarillo, TX on March 14, 2023.

Chersti was born the daughter of Earl & Marion (Murray) Fredrickson on December 27, 1951 in Robbinsdale, MN.

She was united in marriage to David L. Pearson in August of 1985 at Salem Lutheran Church in Greenfield, MN.

Chersti proudly served her country in the United States Army as part of the WAC (Women’s Army Corps).

One of the accomplishments in Chersti’s life that she was most proud of was her time in AA.  She had made her commitment to work the AA program on March 12, 1982 and enjoyed 41 years of sobriety.

For enjoyment Chersti loved going on motorcycle trips with her husband Dave.  The couple made numerous trips including Mexico, Sturgis, Canada & Key West to name a few.  The friends and memories made along the way will be remembered by all who knew her.

Chersti is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dave Pearson; sons, Jerry Hogge Jr. and Dwain (Stacy) Pearson; grandchildren, Shawn Watercott, Thomas Pearson, David J. Pearson, Hannah Hogge, Charlie Pearson, Blake Pearson and Ruby Pearson; sisters, Debbie Hayes, Karen (Chuck) Mason and Jean (Don) Kolstad; adopted sisters, Peggy (Mike) Leadens and Joann (Jim) Murray; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Marion Fredrickson; sisters, Judy Bursch and Lori Fredrickson; first husband, Jerry Hogge Sr.

Officiating will be Pastor Paul Schuler.

Urn bearers will be Chersti’s grandchildren Shawn Watercott, Thomas Pearson, David J. Pearson, Hannah Hogge and Charlie Pearson

There will be luncheon following the service at the Salem Lutheran School.

Interment will be held at a later date in the church cemetery.
