Chad P. Holland, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 in a tragic lake accident, doing what he loved: being outdoors, celebrating with family and friends. He was 52 years young.

Chad was born on March 26, 1969 in Princeton, MN, and grew up helping out on the farm where his love of being outside began. As the owner and operator of Holland Bobcat Services, Chad loved spending time plowing parking lots and building boulder walls. From mudding to boating to throwing bags, if it was outdoors, Chad was doing it: preferably shirtless and shoeless.

Those who knew Chad knew he was a man with a big heart, willing to do anything for those in need, stranger or friend, and he will be missed by those whose lives he touched in some way. He loved life, loved to celebrate with those around him, and loved to just be happy.

Chad’s family grew when he married the love of his life, Isabel, in February 2020. Although they found each other later in life, they made the most of their time together.

He is survived by his loving wife, Isabel; sons, Jerrid, Ethan, Arnaldo, Francisco, and David; parents, Jerry and Mary; siblings, Jade (fiancé, Greg), Josh, Jenny Dehmer (Randy); brothers and sisters-in-law in the Dominican; and numerous nephews, nieces and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6/29/21, from 4-7 PM with brief prayer service at 7 PM at St. Albert’s Catholic Church in Albertville, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following day on Wednesday, 6/30/21, at 11 AM with additional visitation beginning at 10 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Holland family or via Venmo account @isabelramosholland.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville. Online condolences for the family may be directed to www.thepetersonchapel.com

Services may be livestreamed at: https://www.churchofstalbert.org/

Dear Holland family, Chad was first and foremost a guy who loved to have fun! As a young lad at the age of 12 I remember him looking back at me in Conrad’s 1970 Baracuda asking You wanna beer? It was soo loud I passed on it with a nod. Chad loved to do what ever he wanted when he wanted to do it! I’m so glad he found his money maker in his services running skidsters with Josh. Always a fun loving person you never wanted to tick him off! Haha. He will be greatly missed by all of us from the Albertville crew. He went out having a good time and there is not one of us who would want to leave this world working. R.I.P CHAD! YOU ARE MISSED BY MANY!!

Jerry, Mary, Jenny, Josh, Jade and the rest of your families; We were so saddened when we heard of the loss of Chad, such a shock it was. I didn’t know him in his older years but as a child along with his siblings I did. In church, we sat close to you and we got to know each better. Our kids knew each other from CCD together. Plus you and Gary knew each others families for many years. We will be saying many prayers for all of you during this time. Remember all the good and wonderful memories during this time of sadness and missing Chad. God will be with you always to give you comfort and support. May God bless all of you.

I will always remember Chad as a happy go lucky kind of guy. The Holland’s did not get together a lot, but every time we did Chad treated us like we were important to him. He is now in the arms of Jesus and I know that because many years ago he accepted Jesus as his Savior. We exchanged letters back then and I wish I had those now to share with you Jerry and Mary. My heart breaks for you and Izzy and family. I love you and will keep praying for you…always.

Mary, Jerry , Izzy and all the Holland’s , I’m so so sorry that Chad was taken from you .
My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you during this painful time. Chad was so thoughtful and kind. When he lived by me, I would bike over to his house just to talk to him in his garage .
He planted some of his garden on my land by the creek on the hill for a few years . In exchange he would dig up some of my trees for transplanting. When I called him , he was always willing and able to come over and dig the trees.
He will be missed by so many .
    🙏 ❤️

To everyone who knew and loved Chad! May we all find strength in the love and joy Chad brought to us!! I have so many memories of fun times with Chad! We use to sing AC/DC at the top of our lungs he would play air guitar of course! Went to many concerts together, countless parties and BBQs. I lived in Dayton and Chad had no problem driving to pick me up or bring me home!!! His heart was larger than life! A true friend, a hero and now an angel watching over us all!! I give thanks to God that I got to call him my friend! Until we meet again!!
