Visitation Information

Chad Donald, age 37, of Hopkins, MN, left this world early on May 20, 2010, due to complications of pneumonia. His family was at his side when he was born into eternal life.

Chad’s hometown is St. Michael, MN.

He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers: Herbert Dehmer of St. Michael and Alfred Willems of Buffalo, MN, uncle Doug Brutger of Severna Park, MD, aunt Susan Willems of Buffalo, and special great aunt Frances Higgins of Annandale, MN.

Survived by his mother and father: Donald and Beverly Dehmer of St. Michael; his partner for 7+ years: Greg Eiss of Edina, his sister Nichole and husband Darren Beckstrand of Corcoran, MN; his brother Joel and wife Gina Dehmer of Hanover. He also left behind his beautiful nieces, nephew, and godchild: Kaylee Dehmer (age 3), Drew Beckstrand (age 3), Ayden Beckstrand (5 months), and godchild Nicholas Kramer (8 months) of Buffalo; grandmother Corrine Dehmer of St. Michael, grandmother Marcella Willems of Buffalo, godmother Mary Brutger of St. Joseph, MN, and godfather Roland Dehmer of Buffalo; countless aunts, uncles, cousins, unbelievable friends, and co-workers at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Best Buy.

Chad graduated from St. Michael Albertville High School and St. Cloud State University.

We will celebrate his life during his wake on Sunday, May 23rd, 2010 from 4pm to 8pm at Peterson’s Chapel in St. Michael.

Further visitation will be held on Monday morning, May 24th at the funeral home from 9:30-10:30 A.M.

Funeral will be at 11:00 am on Monday, May 24th, 2010, at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Michael, MN, with his burial immediately following at the cemetery.

Chad, we have so many more memories to share with you, and now you’ll be in our spirit forever. We’ll never forget you, Chad.

    listening to some old chorus music and thinking about you today. I know you’re smiling somewhere and judging me for tearing up to some old queens singing. Miss you friend.
