On February 11, 2021, Joyce Katherine (Wurm) (Niesen) Clayton, passed peacefully surrounded by loving family.

Joyce leaves behind: loving husband, Jesse Clayton; children, LouAnn Klein, Sherry (Tom) Olson, David (Deb) Niesen, Julie Niesen; step-son, Steve Clayton; step-daughter, Robin; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Bob (Carol) and Keith (Sandy); sister, Dorthy (Jim); daughter-in-law, Terre Niesen; sisters-in-law, Sandy (Lyle), and Norma Jean Moody; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Niesen; parents; George and Sadie (Jansen) Wurm; sons, Tom, Bruce, Kenny; brothers, Dick and Morris; and sister, Rita.

The legacy of Joyce’s kind spirit and love will live on through family.

Funeral service will be held at a later date.

Obituario

Juan Antonio Pérez López, de 38 años, de Bloomington, Minnesota, falleció el sábado 30 de enero de 2021.

Nació el 30 de junio de 1982 en Jalisco, México, hijo de José Trinidad Pérez y Antonia López Reynoso .

Era propietario y operaba J & J Finishing.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa;  Martha Gabriela Villa Razo,  un hijo;  Juan Antonio Pérez Villa, su padre; José Trinidad Pérez,  su madre;  Antonia López Reynoso,  hermanas;  Elizabeth Perez, Susana Aguirre, Alejandra Lopez y Silvia Lopez;  otros familiares y amigos.

Se llevará a cabo una visita el miércoles 3 de febrero de 2021 en la funeraria The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville de 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Howard Niles Ferry, 77,  Buffalo, Minnesota, passed away June 8, 2019.

Howard was born June 11, 1941 to Howard and Bernice (White) Ferry, in Eagle Bend, Minnesota.  After growing up in Minneapolis, and graduating from Anoka High School in 1959, he enlisted in The United States Air Force, where he was stationed at Truax Field in Madison, Wisconsin.  He also served in the Wisconsin Air National Guard.   On December 8, 1962, he married Janice De Young in Waupun, Wisconsin and had been married 56 years.   In June 1964, their daughter Dana Kay was born.

Upon completion of military service, he worked at Gibbs Manufacturing & Research in Janesville, Wisconsin.   In 1965 Howard moved his family to Minneapolis, where he took a position with Northwestern Bell.  In 1984 he transferred to AT&T and in 1991 he retired.  He was a member of the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Local 7200 and a member of the American Legion Post  #270 in Buffalo, MN.

After his retirement, he worked part time at Ace Hardware in Robbinsdale.  Having a passion for woodworking and fixing antique musical instruments, he took a position at Barton Player Piano Co, as a master player piano repairman.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed living in their home overlooking the lake in Buffalo, Minnesota.  He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Howard is survived by his wife Janice Ferry of Buffalo, Minnesota; daughter Dana Ferry (Chuck Wiser) of St. Cloud, Minnesota;  granddaughter Emily (Phill) Boehm of St. Joseph, Michigan;  great grandson Seth; sister-in- law Sheryl (Thomas) Ferry; and nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents Howard and Bernice, brother Thomas, and brother Bruce and wife Barbara.

A service for the immediate family was held.

Martha Eldoris (Epple) Mielke, age 74, of Waconia and formerly of Silver Lake and Winsted passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at New Perspective Senior Living in Waconia.

She was born on August 16, 1944 in Buffalo the daughter of Herbert L. & Esther P. (Schultz) Epple.

Martha graduated from Buffalo High School in 1962.

She was a farm wife for many years and worked very hard.  Martha was also formerly employed at Casey’s in Glencoe and at the Pantry in Winsted.

She was a companion volunteer.

Martha was a long time 4H leader and also a former Silver Lake Lions member.

Martha enjoyed playing bingo, called bingo too, puzzles, playing cards and telling jokes.

Survived by her loving children: Brenda Mielke of Brooklyn Park, Darlene (Brian) Kolling of Greenfield and Brian (Tiffany) Mielke of St. Michael; four grandchildren: Adam (Taylor) Kolling, Sarah Kolling, Morgan & Kendall Mielke; a brother: Herman (Joni) Epple of Montrose; a sister: Clara (Harold) Iverson of Waverly, Iowa; her former husband and lifelong friend: Donald Mielke of Plato; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death her parents.

A Memorial service for Martha Mielke will be held on Tuesday, April 16th at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Presbyterian Church in Silver Lake.   Pastor Carol Chmielewski will officiate.  Inurnment will follow at Cassel Cemetery rural Delano.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16th at the church beginning at 9:00 A.M.

Urn Bearer will be Brian Mielke.
