Erna C. Woyke 97, of Buffalo, formerly of Albion Township, passed away Monday at Parkview Care Center.

Erna was born was born January 9, 1915 to Reinhold and Alvina (Sandman) Koepke in Albion Township, Wright County, Minnesota. Erna was baptized on February 7, 1915 by Reverend Alfred Streufert at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Middleville. On April 1, 1928 Erna was confirmed by Reverend Alfred Streufert at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Middleville.

On April 26, 1936 Erna Koepke and Albert Woyke were married by Pastor William D. Kanning at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Middleville. On October 24, 1937 their daughter Delores was born. Then on October 19, 1940 their son Ellsworth was born.

Erna and Albert lived on a farm where she was a housewife and helped her husband on the farm. She was also a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Middleville, Minnesota. Erna was a member of the Ladies Aid and also Treasurer and taught Sunday school for many years.

In 1967 Erna and Albert moved to Wayzata with their daughter Delores. While in Wayzata, Erna worked for S&K Chrome Products. Albert Woyke passed away on December 17, 1969. Erna was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wayzata from 1967 to 1971.

Erna moved to Buffalo in 1971 where she worked for the Walter Spike Locker Plant. After working at the locker plant, Erna worked at the Lighthouse restaurant and then as a cook at the Junior High School until 1979 when she married Rueben Ramthun.

Erna is preceded in death by her parents Reinhard and Alvina (Sandman) Koepke and her husband Albert Woyke.

Erna is survived by her daughter Delores Pawelk, son Ellsworth (Shirley Kostrzewski) Woyke, grandchildren Brad (Gerrie) Woyke, David Woyke and great-grandchildren Misty and Dusty Hayden.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 26, 2011 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Buffalo at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held Saturday November 26, 2011 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Buffalo from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Lauretta M. Lepinski age 90 years of Buffalo died Monday, November 21, 2011 at Buffalo Hospital.
She was born in Chatham Township on September 14, 1921 the daughter of James D. and Mary (Paumen) Moore.
Lauretta attended teacher’s training before becoming a teacher for Country School from 1940 until 1946.
On January 3, 1944 Lauretta was joined in holy marriage to Benedict C. Lepinski at St. Francis Catholic Church in Buffalo. The Reverend Joseph Heinz presided. God blessed their marriage with seven children. Benedict C. “Ben” Lepinski passed away on November 21, 1995.
Lauretta was a faithful member of the Church of St. Francis where she volunteered at the school, delivered meals on wheels, and was an active member of the Rosary Society and the Catholic Order of Forresters. She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also an election judge for 60 years. She enjoyed playing cards, especially 500, walking and bowling on a league.
Lauretta is preceded in death by her parents, husband Benedict of 51 years, brothers; Russ, Orville, George and grandson Patrick Randel.
Lauretta is survived by her daughter Margaret (David) Randel of Buffalo, son Mike (Lorrie) Lepinski of Buffalo, son Jim (Pam) Lepinski of Effie, daughter Judy (Brian) Loberg of Buffalo,son Joe (Renee) Lepinski of Buffalo, son Johnny (Janice) Lepinski of Buffalo, daughter Mary (Brian) Benson of New London, grandchildren; Chelsey Lepinski, Jake Lepinski, Becky (Jack) Youngberg, Cassie (Ryan) Gregory, Jed (Jarilyn) Loberg, Neil Loberg, Miranda, Samantha and Ben Lepinski, Anna and Louis Benson, Matthew and Zachary Stamey, Jason (Shelly) Jordan, great-grandchildren; William and Mason Youngberg, Lauren, Katelyn and Nolan Gregory, Jayla Loberg, Mattie, Ava and Wyatt Stamey, Brenden and Spencer Jordan and great-great-grandson Wyatt Jordan, sisters Marilyn (Mel) Eggersgluss, Kathleen Ratican, brothers Marvin (Sally) Moore, Edward Moore, Dennis (Ronniebeth) Moore.
Funeral Mass for Lauretta Lepinski will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Buffalo. Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery in Maple Lake.
The family is being served by the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.

Troy R. Aurentz of Becker, MN. passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, Nov 20th, 2011.

He was born September 7, 1961 in Buffalo, MN. to Robert K. and Elizabeth A. Aurentz (Brown)

Troy was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a committed Father to his four sons and granddaughter. Throughout his life he worked extremely hard and was forever striving to expand his professional knowledge. His final employment before his illness was at Ameristar in Mankato, MN. as Director of Operations.

Preceded in death by his father (Robert,) mother (“Betty”,) Grandmother’s Evelyn Brown & Esther Aurentz and Grandfather’s William Brown & John Aurentz.

Survived by four sons~ Dustin, Andrew, Wyatt and Clinton Aurentz of Becker, MN. and granddaughter Trinity Aurentz. Also survived by four siblings, Kim Goldfine of Sherman, CT., Hayley Anderson of Portland, OR, Tracy Ingles of Waverly, MN. and Kelly Brynestad of Buffalo, MN. ; many other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service for Troy Aurentz was held on Saturday, November 26th at 4:30 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. A Time of Gathering was held on Saturday, November 26th from 3:30-4:30 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.

Sophia Elaine Droneck (Conzet) 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Waverly, Minnesota on Saturday November 19, 2011.
Sophia was born on February 28, 1926 in Rockford, Minnesota.
Sophia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Theodore Droneck and her brothers and sisters.
Sophia is survived by her daughters Janet Droneck, Jeannie (Mike) Gille, son Ted Droneck, grandchildren Shannon (Dan) DesMarais, Troy (Kerry) Gille, and great-grandchildren Christy, Amber, Jimmy and Hunter.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday December 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Waverly. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the animal welfare charity of the donor’s choice.
The family is being served by the Peterson Chapel Buffalo.

Dorothy E. (Hall) Larson, age 94, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Buffalo, Minnesota.

She was born in Chetek, Wisconsin on October 7, 1917 the daughter of Clarence and Berenice (VanPatten) Hall.

Dorothy was a retired school teacher and librarian from Wisconsin having moved to Buffalo in March 2010.

She is survived by her children: Orval Larson of St. Paul, MN, Mary Lee (Wayne) Wessels of South Bend, IN, Jerry (Donna) Larson of Sussex, WI and Janette (Lawrence) Rufledt of Hanover, MN; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert V. Larson in May 1983; a sister, Marilyn and a brother, Frederick.

She will be interred in Chetek, Wisconsin next to her husband.

Ronald E. Allison, age 61, of Paynesville, Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Paul.

He was born in Minneapolis on December 7, 1949 the son of Ernest and Helen (McClish) Allison.

He has lived in Paynesville for the past year having moved there from Becker where he lived the past 17 years.

Ron was a former volunteer for the Boy’s Club, was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing men’s softball, bowling, snowmobiling and watching sports – especially the Twins and Vikings. He also loved to restore and show old cars, enjoyed playing cards and loved his animals. He had a deep love for his grandchildren and was very proud of them.

He retired from the Star Tribune as a Journeyman Mailer with more than 30 years of service.

He is survived by his daughters: Renae (Jeff) Prickett and Rachel Allison; grandchildren: Blake & Brianna; his life partner, Barbara Karels and her son Jordan.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Patricia (Obermoller) Allison.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm Monday, November 21, 2011 at The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville, 300 North Main Street, St. Michael, Minnesota.

Visitation will be held at the Peterson Chapel Sunday from 1-4pm with additional visitation Monday one hour prior to service.

Interment will be in Word of Peace Cemetery in Rogers.

The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville assisted the family with arrangements.
