Donald Criswell 83
Donald Criswell, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 7, 2011 at the age of 83.
Donald was born February 21, 1928 to Ira and Lillian Swanson Criswell in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He attended school at Metropolitan State University and the University of Minnesota. Donald married Ann Schoenecker on April 6, 1968. Donald worked for Onan for 40 years.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
Donald is survived by his wife Ann, daughter Dawn (John) Daley, son, Michael (Amy)Criswell, grandchildren, Jacob Daley, Morgan Daley, Curtis Criswell and Dinah Criswell and sister Arleen Crandall.
Funeral Services for Donald Criswell will be held on Thursday at ?? at Word of Peace Lutheran Church 21705 129th Avenue North Rogers, Minnesota following interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Word of Peace Lutheran Church from 4p.m. to 8p.m. on Wednesday.

Born September 12th, 1944 in Aitkin, MN passed August 6th, 2011 doing what he loved, riding his Harley on his way to Sturgis.
He is preceded by parents Alfred & Norma Havisto, brother Jackie. He is survived by daughter Arley (Ryan) McGregor, sons Todd (Kris) Havisto, John Havisto (Shannon Stubbs), Josh (Heather) Havisto. Grandchildren, Jade, Hunter, Isabella, Ireland & Maggie. Brothers, Robert (Judy) Havisto, David (Wanda) Havisto, Sister JoAnne Ellis and many nieces and nephews. Services to be held at Peterson Chapel Funeral Home 300 Main St N St. Michael, MN 55376 Visitation Wed 8/10 4pm-8pm. Services Thurs 8/11 11am with visitation 1 hr prior.

Virginia Jane Reed Cummings was born May 3, 1920 and died August 4, 2011. Virginia was born on the family farm in Rome, Wisconsin to Walter and Hedwig Reed. She married Harold K. Cummings on December 21, 1940 in Dubuque, Iowa. They lived in Whitewater, Wisconsin most of their married life. They raised three children; Gordon Wylie, Patti Jayne and David. Virginia worked part time at the public library, was an avid reader and loved to golf. After her husband retired, they moved to Tomah, Wisconsin. Harold died in 1992 in Tomah. In 2003, Virginia moved to Buffalo to be with her family. She spent the past four years living at Sunrise Assisted Living in Buffalo winning Blue Ribbons at the Wright County Fair for her many crafts and making many good friends.

Virginia is survived by two sons; Wylie (Lin) and David (Nancy) and daughter, Patti (Larry) Totten. She has 6 grandchildren; Kelly Cummings, Tracey (Floyd) Finck, Lindsey (Joe) DeBartelo, Reed (Erin) Cummings, Tim (Karen) Totten, and Tari (Scott) Waite. She also has 10 great-grandchildren; Amanda, Derek, Jake, Tyler, Cameron, Trevor, Bradan, Nick, David, and Danielle Jo. She has one surviving sister, Helen Ortmann of Oconomoc, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Cora Bernice Merrit, her husband, Harold, and one grandchild, Steven Jay Totten.

Graveside services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Tomah, Wisconsin on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM.

Memorials can be made to Sunrise Assisted Living of Buffalo, MN or to COPD Foundation.

The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo is assisting the family.

Gilman Bryant, age 78, of Montrose passed away on Tuesday at The Minneapolis Veteran’s Hospital.

A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Monday morning at the church one hour prior to services.

Funeral Services for Gilman Bryant will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Buffalo.

Interment with military rites Kreidler Cemetery in rural Montrose.

Arrangements for Gilman Bryant are by The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.

Elaine Forys, 75, of Buffalo passed away Thursday surrounded by her family in Buffalo.

Elaine was born on July 26, 1935 in Fortier Township, Minnesota to Clarence and Mildred Funk.
Elaine married Paul Forys on January 3, 1959 in Canby, Minnesota. Together they had two sons, Douglas, of Minnesota, and Steven, of California, and two daughters, Robin (Bill Salonek) of Wisconsin, and Kim (Warren Schulz) of Minnesota. Elaine has one granddaughter, Raven.

Elaine worked through her whole life in various jobs as a production worker and retired from Honeywell in 1998. She enjoyed sewing, trying new recipes and reading.

A Memorial service will be held Monday August 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Visitation will be held Monday August 1, 2011 at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
