Carol was the daughter of Theodore and Lillian Selleseth of the Herman and Norcross area.  She was sister to Wallace (Tyke) and Lana Selleseth.

After graduating from Herman High School, Carol moved to Minneapolis with a few girlfriends and met her first husband, Robert (Bob) Olsen, from New York.  They were married in 1955 and had 5 children.   Bob passed away in 1974.  In 1981, Carol married Roy Sund, of Long Lake, who had two children.  They were married until Roy passed away in 2019.

Carol was a woman of great love and loyalty who valued faith and family above all else. She had an instinct for caregiving, which she lived out in a special way for many years by caring for her youngest daughter with special needs. She also helped with her oldest daughter’s daycare later in life.  Her warmth and love of others will be remembered.

Carol is survived by her children Ron (Kim) Olsen, Ted (Jenny) Olsen, Joran (Ken) Swedzinski, son-in-law Jeff Jensen, and stepchildren Cindy Fredrickson and Sandra Sund. She will be remembered and missed by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by husband Robert (Bob) Olsen, parents Theodore and Lillian Selleseth,  brother Wallace (Tyke) Selleseth,  sister Lana Selleseth, husband Roy Sund, and daughters Janet Olsen and Karen Jensen.
