Carol Ann Roehlke, age 58 of Otsego, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at GJ Destiny Home in Otsego. She was born February 2, 1958 in Mankato, the daughter of Lester and Anne (Christ) Schendel.

Carol was wonderful at crafts. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making cards and jewelry, and she enjoyed sharing her crafts with others. She loved Christmas, and being able to give the crafts she made to friends and family.

Carol is preceded in death by her father: Lester Schendel.

She is survived by her mother: Anne Marie Schendel of New Hope; children: Shawn (Becky) Roehlke of Maple Lake, Matthew Roehlke of Maple Lake, Crystal (Russ) Roehlke of Elk River; grandchildren: Jenna Anderson (21), Mariah Roehlke (19), Wesley Roehlke (18), Nicholas Roehlke (16), Alexis Roehlke (14), Rose Roehlke (13), Christopher Roehlke (10), and one on the way; siblings: Karen (Jim) Carlen of Payson, AZ, Jeff Schendel of Ft. Wayne, IN, Gary (Barbara) Schendel of Becker; dog, Angel; Godmother: Ruth Schendel of Buffalo; and many other family and friends.

A special thank you to the loving staff at GJ Destiny Home in Otsego for their wonderful care of Carol.

A funeral service for Carol Roehlke will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11:00 A.M., with visitation held one hour prior to services at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Pastor Jill Davis will officiate. Interment will follow at Zion Cemetery in Buffalo.

Casket bearers are Martin Schendel, Billy Joe Schendel, Tara Anne Schendel, Jim Schendel, Jack Schendel, and William Schendel.

Honorary casket bearers are Nicholas Roehlke, Wesley Roehlke, and Christopher Roehlke.
