Carl E. Wampler, age 44, of rural Buffalo passed away on Friday, June 27th, 2014.
He was born on December 16, 1969 in Michigan the son of Russell & Margaret (Burkhert) Wampler.
On Sept 1 1990 , Carl E. Wampler and Wendy Patten were joined in holy marriage. God blessed their marriage with three children.
Carl was employed as a mechanic at Minnehaha Transportation.
He enjoyed hunting, riding his ATV, being in the Church band, playing with his kids and spending time with his family. He loved watching the kids sports and activities at school, he hardly ever missed a football game or track meet. He enjoyed each summer of playing softball with the men from church.
Carl was a member of Grace Church of Wright County.
Survived by his loving wife: Wendy Wampler; children: Russell, Shelby and Stephen; his parents: Russell & Margaret Wampler; two brothers: David (Kathy) Wampler and Paul (Denise) Wampler; his mother-in-law: Elizabeth Patten; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by Grandparents James & Lillian Wampler, Grandparent Ethel Burkhert.
Funeral services for Carl Wampler will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Assembly of God Church in Buffalo. Reverend Gary Palermo will officiate.
Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.
Casket Bearers will be Kirk Radzwil, Derek Walraven, Ray Hawley, David Wampler, Paul Wampler and Dennis Hilligoss.

we are so sorry for your loss. coach carl was a great guy, wonderful football coach and friend. he taught our son many things and for that we are grateful! he will definetly be missed.
Deepest sympathies to Wendy, Russell, Shelby, Stephen and all of Carl’s family. In the short time I knew Carl, he made such a huge impression on me. He clearly loved the Lord, his family and touched the lives of so many in a positive way. Thank you for sharing him with us, and may you find peace in the wonderful memories you have of Carl.

It’s been a long time, but thank you for being there for me when my own father wasn’t. You meant so much to me when I was younger and really helped me to become the person I am. I miss you, and thank you again.
