Captain Barry V. Costanzi died suddenly at age 66 on Aug. 18, 2013. A visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 4-8 PM at Willwerscheid’s Funeral Home: 1167 Grand Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota (651.228.1006 or willwerscheid@comcast.net). The funeral will be on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 11:00 with a short viewing before hand at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Buffalo, MN (223 19th St. NW, Buffalo, MN 55313 or 763.684.0075).

I never got to know Lion Barry very well, but did talk with him many times about his “adventures at sea.” I wish I would have gotten to learn more about him… It’s too bad we often say that.
