Bryce Alan Johnson of St. Michael, Minnesota passed away peacefully on June 28, 2022 at his home. Bryce was born on December 11, 1951 to Ruby and Warren Johnson in Worthington, MN.  He graduated from Round Lake High School in 1970, and continued his education at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN. He graduated from SMSU in 1975 with a degree in Hotel Restaurant Institutional Management.

Bryce met the love of his life, Karrie in the summer of 1973 while he was working at the restaurant, St. George and The Dragon, in Sioux City, IA.  They married on June 1, 1974 in Gilmore City, Iowa.  Their life journey gave them the opportunity to live in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota and finally back to Minnesota.

Bryce loved God, his family and every Minnesota sports team.  If it involved a ball or a puck he would watch it.  One of his “claims to fame” was scoring 7 touchdowns in one of his high school football games in Round Lake, MN.

Westbridge Community Church was a huge joy in his life.  He was a part of the First Impressions Team and many other volunteer projects until his health declined and could no longer participate.

Visiting his brothers – Randy in Alexandria, MN and Naples, FL and Drew in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho was also something he treasured.

Bryce was loved and respected and touched the lives of so many people.  He was a man who loved his children and granddaughters unconditionally.

He is survived by his wife, Karrie; son, Adam; and granddaughters, Alexandra and Madeline; brothers, Randall (Debra) and Drew Johnson; niece, Traci Johnson Nelson (Todd); and nephews, Chad Johnson (Leslie), Cody Johnson, Elijah Johnson, Christopher Moeller (Casey) and Stephen Moeller (Gretchen).

He was preceded in death by his son, Nathan; daughter, Katie; and parents, Warren and Ruby Johnson.

Bryce will be loved and missed by many.  We love you so much and find comfort that you are now at peace and walking with The Lord.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Westbridge Community Church, 11600 Frankfort Pkwy NE, St. Michael, MN.

Serving the family is The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. 763-497-5362. www.thepetersonchapel.com

Your entire family has a special place in my heart. Bryce had a loving soul and shared that with all he knew. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time and share this sorrow with family and friends. I hope his memories will bring peace to you as time passes.
