Dawn, Steve I am so sorry to hear of Brents passing. This was certainly a shock. I am comforted in knowing that Brent is resting comfortably in the arms of our heavenly father. He is no longer suffering. The difficult part is ahead for us as we grieve this loss. As I sit here thinking what to say, many thoughts come to mind of when I had the opportunity to care for Brent while he was in the hospital. To exceptional events come to mind, the first was our drive-up experience at the indoor McDonalds in Abbott Northwestern Hospital, who would have thought a young boy would be driven up to the counter on a gurney, the other is when Brent received a Furbie (a toy all kids wanted at that time), and he graciously gave it to his sister because she wanted it. Now that truly speaks of the kind of person Brent was. What a brave, wonderful and gracious person. Thank you Lord for letting me into Brents world. May God bless you Brent and God bless your family during this most difficult time.

Your entire family are in my constant prayers.
Dear Dawn & Steve,
I have tried and tried to think of the words that might reach your hearts and give you comfort but I don’t think it is humanly possible to do that. Only our Father in heaven can take care of such an awesome task. But I do want to express to you my deep and heartfelt love, sympathy and prayers that I hope will reach out to you at this time. May God bless you and continue to keep you strong as you have been through all of these years with all of the battles you have had to fight. I am thankful I was able to know and share even a little time in Brent’s young life so many years ago.
God be with you and your family today and always.
Much love,
Linda & Joe
