Brandon Joel Snare, 32 of Buffalo, formerly Monticello, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016. He was born to Noel and Mary (Kalinowski) Snare on September 2, 1984 in St. Louis Park. He was baptized by Pastor Ed Blair at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo and confirmed in the Lutheran faith by Pastor John Folkerds at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo.

Brandon was a 2003 graduate from Buffalo High School where he was on the football and wrestling teams. After graduating, Brandon began working with Great West Mechanical, where he obtained his Master Plumber, until 2013. He then worked with Local 15 from 2013 until his passing.

Brandon enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with his children.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Jessica Snare; Grandparents, Adrian and Marion Snare; Darlene Kalinowski, Addie Kalinowski; uncle, “J.R.” Harry Kalinowski, Jr.; and cousin, Jonathan Kalinowski.

Brandon is survived by his wife, Shelagh Snare of Monticello; children, Wyatt (4) and Naomi (1) Snare; parents, Noel and Mary Snare of Buffalo; brother, Dustin (Coventry) Snare and their daughter, Charlize, of Plymouth; grandfather, Harry Kalinowski, Sr. of Palm Desert, CA; parents-in-law, Larry and Pat Darrow of Buffalo; sister-in-law, Rachel (Tom) Sauer and their daughter, Joslyn, of Buffalo; Bev Averill of Howard Lake; aunt, Julie (Robert) Snare-Witt of Wayzata; uncles, Alan (Sylvia) Snare of Reno, NV, Kerry (Connie) Snare of Elk River, Scott (Laura) Snare of Big Lake; and many cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 19, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Further visitation will be held one hour prior to services at church on Tuesday. Funeral services for Brandon Snare will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Pastors Ted Vanderpan and Luke Schmidt will officiate. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Buffalo.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Scott Snare, Kerry Snare and Alan Snare.

Casket bearers will be Dustin Snare, Samuel Hovda, Aaron Kath, Andrew Spike, John Pawlik and Brevik Tharaldson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Brandon Snare Memorial Fund set up at KleinBank, Buffalo, for his children, Wyatt and Naomi.
