Brad B. Kirschmann, age 76 of St. Michael, passed away March 27, 2021.

He was born on January 7th, 1945 in Pierre, South Dakota to Jacob and Dorothy Kirschmann. He grew up on the family farm working and riding horses; eventually the family relocated to Minnesota. He attended Armstrong High School in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, and graduated with the class of 1963.

On April 4, 1970, he was joined in marriage to Geraldine Schuchard at Zion Lutheran Church in Bismarck, North Dakota. This Easter they would have celebrated their 51st year of marriage.

Following high school, he immediately started working in car sales and eventually moved on to management with various dealerships. He had been employed throughout the years with many different dealerships throughout Minnesota and North Dakota. He was extremely knowledgeable with all kind of models of cars, and took pride in working hard for his employers and customers. He was a tough boss, but cared a lot about the people who worked for him.

In his spare time away from work, he enjoyed being out on the lake boating and fishing at the family cabin in Richmond, MN. He tried his hand in home improvement projects, often times deciding to do renovations spur of the moment, but always hiring someone to do the work while he oversaw them. He and his family liked to travel and went many places for work and fun. He also enjoyed attending the occasional NASCAR race with Gerry and his son and daughter in law.

Brad would do anything for his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, and loved being their Papa. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Dorothy; and sister, Elizabeth Peterson.

Bradley is survived by his wife, Gerry; children, Brad (Aimee), Courtney (Nick) Taaffe, and son from a previous marriage, Dean; grandchildren, Zoey and Logan; brother, Danny (Bev) Kirschmann; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 3:00 PM with visitation one hour prior and Life in Christ Lutheran Church in Albertville. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville. Online condolences for the family may be directed to www.thepetersonchapel.com
