Beverly June (Pedlar) Williams, age 76, passed away on December 12, 2020 at her home in Brooklyn Park.

She was born on October 20, 1944 in Minneapolis, MN. She was the youngest of 8 children born to Emery and Wilma Pedlar. Bev grew up and attended high school in Minneapolis, graduating in 1962.

On June 17, 1978 she married Michael Williams in Milaca MN. They then made a home in Brooklyn Park for the past 42 years, where they raised Jackie, Joe and Jodi. Mike and Bev were always doing something together; they enjoyed spending time at the Casino, nightly walks around their neighborhood with their baby Lexi, traveling, and watching movies together. As long as they were together they were having a good time. The love Mike had for Bev was always apparent, but even more so after she suffered from a stroke in 2008, as he lovingly took care of her for 12 years so she could remain at home.

Bev loved her family; she enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She never wanted to miss out on special events that the grandkids participated in. Bev always made sure to spend equal time with her family; she was always willing to go out shopping with her daughters or to take the grandkids for a sleepover overnight.

Bev had many hobbies; she enjoyed baking especially during the holidays as she would fill tins with cookies for each of her kids. Bev enjoyed crafting, and was always trying something new. Eventually she purchased an embroidery machine to make sweatshirts, monogramed towels, and even made all of the grandkids quilts that weren’t perfect but were treasured gifts to each one. She loved to shop and did it right up until the end; she took pride in her appearance and never liked to leave the house without being perfectly put together.  Bev joined a swim group, and met a group of women. They became fast friends and enjoyed their time together spent with many laughs.

Bev was always the life of the party, it didn’t matter where she was, she was always having a good time. Her quick wit and fun-loving nature perfectly defines her vibrant personality. She loved to joke around and always was making people laugh, whether it was a little white lie she could tell so straight faced, or giving Mike, Brian and Paul a hard time, she loved it all and so did we!  She easily made friends with just about anybody. Bev’s sense of humor will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Wilma; brothers, Gerald, Duane, Dean, and Larry; sisters, Janet and Judy, and her beloved son Joe.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Mike; daughters, Jackie (Brian) and Jodi (Paul); grandchildren, Tanner (Christine), Shane, Taryn (Derek), Emily, Allison (Andrew), Erica, and Max; great-grandchildren, Sam, Lucas, Casen and Paityn.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2020 at 3 PM with visitation one hour prior at The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville.
