Beverly A. Elsenpeter, age 81, of rural Waverly passed away on Sunday, August 17th, 2014 at the Garden House of St. Mary’s in Winsted.
She was born on February 1, 1933 in Monticello Township, Wright County the daughter of LeRoy “Bud” & Christina (McEachern) Perisian.
On September 5, 1953, Beverly A. Perisian and Donald R. Elsenpeter were joined in holy marriage at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. God blessed their marriage with a daughter Debbie.
Beverly and Don moved to their farm in Marysville Township, Wright County in July of 1954. Beverly was employed at Honeywell for 36 years (1954-1990). After Don passed away in 1997, she continued to live on the farm where she enjoyed working outside, mowing lawn, gardening, puzzles and playing solitaire. Beverly was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo for 53 years.
Survived by a loving daughter & son-in-law: Debbie & Curtis Marks of Lester Prairie; a grandson: Eric Marks of Crystal; a sister: Dorothy (Bob) Schindler of Buffalo; a sister-in-law: Jean Carlson of Mound; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband: Donald R. Elsenpeter, her parents: LeRoy “Bud” & Christina Perisian, brothers & sisters: Albert Perisian, Mildred “Millie” Bonk, Janette Elsenpeter and Allen Perisian.
Funeral services for Beverly Elsenpeter will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Paster Ted Vanderpan will officiate. Holly Husom is the vocalist for the funeral service.
Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetary in Buffalo.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, 2014 at the church one hour prior to services.
Casket Bearers will be Rick Bonk, Dan Elsenpeter, Jim Glunz, Gary Perisian, Fred Bonk and Bob Kuhlmann.
