Visitation Information

Beulah Emergene Stoppelman, age 87 passed away recently at her residence in Maple Lake Township.

She was born on July 12, 1921 in Maple Lake Township, Wright County the daughter of Gottlieb “Wallace” & Emma Perisien Marquette.

On April 29, 1942, Beulah Marquette and Carl H. Stoppelman were united in marriage at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. God blessed their marriage with two children.

Beulah was baptized on March 8, 1951 by Reverend E.R. Berwald at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. She was received as a Communicant member on March 8, 1951.

Beulah & Carl engaged in farming for many years in Maple Lake Township.

She was a member of St. John’s Evangelcial Lutheran Church in Buffalo.

Survived by a daughter: Arlene (Byron) Shepard of Nisswa; a son: Dean Stoppelman of Buffalo; grandchildren: Cindy Stoppelman and Chris Stoppelman; two great grandchildren: Adrian & Ariana; a brother; Percy Marquette of Buffalo

Funeral Services for Beulah Stoppelman were held on Sunday, August 3rd at 2:00 P.M. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Pastor James Disney officiated. Interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo.

A visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.

Casket Bearers were Raymond Marquette, David Gruenhagen, Craig Gruenhagen, Lyle Bruska, Thomas Zander, Kenneth Marquette and Ronald Marquette.
