Miller, Betty Jo
Age 69 of Buffalo, MN was born February 26, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN the daughter of Martin and Gladys Coffey. Betty graduated with honors in 1967 from the St. Vincent’s Nursing School in Indianapolis. She was united in marriage to James Miller on November 11, 1967. Jim and Betty lived and started their own family in Indiana until 1983 when they transferred to Minnesota. Even though Betty had physically moved to Minnesota she left a part of her heart in Indiana and always considered it home. Betty passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Cottagewood in Buffalo.

Betty was extremely proud of being an RN. She loved anything with ladybugs and also enjoyed antiquing, her specialty being Greentown Glass from Greentown, IN. Betty’s greatest enjoyment came from the time spent with her children and grandchildren and was a mother to them all.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents Martin and Gladys Coffey; husband, James Miller; infant children Thomas and Rebecca

She is survived by her children, Tracy (Mark) Leinonen, Trent Miller, Sarah (Brian) Lindamood, Luke Miller, Jamie (fiancé Donny Moberg) Dickhausen and Kate Miller; grandchildren, Tiffany, Zak, Randy, Devon, Helen, Allister, Ian, Oliver, Zita, Emory, Maggie, Emily, Audrey, Hannah and Sydney; brothers, Marty (Sue) Coffey and Hugh Coffey; sisters, Katie (Joe) Klaus and Rosie (Bill) Keller; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Casket Bearers will be Mark Leinonen, Donny Moberg, Randy Carter, Zak Leinonen.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.

Visitation will be Friday, October 23 from 4 to 8 PM concluding with a rosary service at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.

Mass of Christian Burial for Betty Miller will be held Saturday, October 24 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation continuing one hour prior to the Mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Buffalo. Father Nathaniel Meyers will be officiating. Interment at St. Francis Cemetery in Buffalo.
Reception to follow at church.
