Bethany Rose Becker, age 19 of Corcoran, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 in a skiing accident. She was born October 24, 1998 in Monticello, the daughter of Steven and Roberta (Beaudry) Becker.
Bethany was baptized on December 6, 1998 at St. Michael Catholic Church by Father Dulac. She received her First Communion on May 6, 2007 in Rogers and she was confirmed in the Catholic Faith on April 11, 2015 at the Cathedral in St. Paul through the St. Michael Catholic Church.
Bethany was a 2017 graduate from St. Michael Albertville High School where she received many art awards. She was currently attending cosmetology school, set to graduate in July 2018.
She was a faithful member of St. Michael Catholic Church where she was involved with their CORE Team and was a Pro-Life advocate. She loved God and enjoyed horses and horseback riding, hanging with her friends and watching movies, and time spent with her family.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Clemens Becker and uncle, Russ Beaudry.
Bethany is survived by her parents, Steve and Roberta Becker of Corcoran; siblings, Gretta and Solomon Becker; grandparents, Mary Becker of Albertville, Earl and LaVerne Beaudry of St. Michael; aunts and uncles, Nancy (Bruce) McAlpine of Dayton, Patricia (Bill) Vetsch of St. Michael, Joan (Ron) Dick of Monticello, Barb (Rick) Carlson of St. Michael, Greg (Monica) Becker of St. Michael, Annette (Kevin) Mudd of Holdenville, OK, Karen (Dan) LeFebvre of Otsego, Jeff (Sylvia) Becker of Apple Valley, Brian Becker of Chanhassen, Tom (Sue) Beaudry of Watertown, SD, Renee (John) Quiles of Plymouth, Michelle (Mike) Dick of Brainerd, Greg Beaudry of Minneapolis; and many cousins, other family, and friends.
Honorary casket bearers are all of Bethany’s friends.
Casket bearers are Tom Beaudry, Greg Beaudry, Jeff Becker, Brian Becker, Adam Mudd, Jacob Dick, Ben Dick and Michael Quiles.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM, at St. Michael Catholic Church. Further visitation will be held one hour prior to Mass at the church on Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael with Father Peter Richards as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bethany’s name may be made and the family will donate to charitable causes.
I am praying for you since there is nothing besides Christ that I can imagine would bring you the grace, peace and strength to get you through this difficult time. My heart is heavy with sorrow for your loss.

We are so saddened by the loss of Bethany- what a wonderful daughter she was! The Lord’s plans sure are mysterious and unlike our own. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you and your family.
